We found a church that has a fantastic testimony of a young man who was the son of a hamas leader but who has become a believer in Jesus Christ and is testifying about his faith. See Joseph's testimony as soon as you can!

We got our couch in but we sent our camera out! O well, we will get you some more pictures of our apartment soon. Ashley and I are streamlining our weeks so that we have as much time together as possible, as is proper for newlyweds!
Lately, we have been renting the old "Garfield & Friends" cartoon on DVD. It's actually suprisingly thoughtful for a cartoon that I used to think was entirely slapstick. I remember that it was one of my favorite cartoons, but I really did not know why.
My favorite character is Orson the pig who is so responsible and always cheerful. I also like Bo the sheep who talks like a surfer but is a dogged farmer (not seen here).
I dont admire garfield at all. But he does point out really funny things about the American culture that you otherwise would not have caught!

Ashley and I love to watch movies together. Recently, we have started a small acount with Netflix. We rented Planet Earth and we have watched two CDs out of five so far. While some of it is not very appealing, a large part of it is quite interesting and in many cases beautiful.
We have been working at our jobs fairly consistently even through the Holiday season. Ashley is working at a cell phone store in Niles and I am at Berrien Metal. We love each other so much. We trade house cleaning tasks and we are very romantic!

Ashley and I were ill this month, but we recovered! Ashley made me drink raw apple cider vinigar because of its healing properties and so I slipped some raw powdered garlic into her water for its antibiotic properties. :) We were ready to be unsick by the end of the month. Several of the people in our fellowship are hurting physically at the moment with many different problems. Our illnesses helped us have more compassion on them, though we were very thankful to have ours end!
We traded couches this week--our old brown one for a nice new one! Well, we have not actually got the nice new one. And the nice new one is not exactly new. It's "new to us!" It is used, but in great conditon...and we dont exactly have it yet. It may be a while. Here is the lonely wall where our previous couch used to sit.

It will soon be occupied by a "new"-but-used couch with a nice slipcover. We are SO THANKFUL to have a couch at all!
I (Joel) am also warming up to our new cat Bubbles!

Today, Ashley gave me a haircut! It was pretty good! She wanted it to be longer, but the razor thingamabob cut it shorter than we expected...

Ashley has made me over one hundred gourmet meals to date. We paid a LOT of money for some nice meals on our honeymoon, but they pale in comparison to my love's cooking. She is brillient, creative, fun, encouraging, and a great chef (or chefess).
This is a meal that my wife Ashley (Intermediate Chefess), made for me!! BLT's on Saturday afternoon: homemade, all natural, and love spilling all over the place!!! :)

I've been working at a custom metal parts fabrication shop called Berrien Metal Products, Inc. in Buchanan, MI for over ten months now. I am an assistant engineer, office supporter (answering phones), marketing engineer, and factory worker at this facility.
My wife works for the State of Indiana, tenderly caring for her younger brother (now 18 years old) who is mentally handicapped. She travels to Michawaka three times a week for her job. I work five or six days a week.
Contact us sometime! Talk to you later! LOVE YOU! BYE! :)
